Google.

Google is a free listing, but it may take a while. Yahoo is sort of free, but they now will only list commercial sites in their directory if you pay them an annual fee of $299 (as of now).
90% of the other search engines spider off of Google and Yahoo or they are strictly pay per click or they are just too small to bother.
There are companies who will provide search engine optimization services, but I'd be wary of some. It is best to do your own homework. Buy a good web marketing book at

Email Marketing and Promotion
Be careful of email marketing companies. The current wave is they are fading out of the mainstream. Spamming is a practice that your customers will eventually be turned off from. In fact major companies like AOL, and Microsoft have aggressively begun stopping email marketers.
It can be used "smartly" to targeted people, but you may find that maintaining an email database of your customers and sending them an occaisonal email marketing letter or newsletter is best.
